چکیده

In this paper we show how to compute suboptimal H 1 controllers, for a class of (possibly) unstable and (possibly) innnite dimensional plants, from a nite set of linear equations. A solution to the H 1 suboptimal control problem for innnite dimensional stable plants was obtained in 6]. Also, in 13] and 14] the H 1 optimal control problem was solved for unstable distributed plants. Our solution for the suboptimal control problem of unstable distributed plants is based on the techniques developed in 6] and 13]. We obtain a computable expression for the suboptimal H 1 controllers and identify their nite and innnite dimensional parts.

Survey an Operator Theoretic Approach to Robust Control of Infinite Dimensional Systems

The purpose of this paper is to give an overview of the skew Toeplitz approach to H∞ control of a class of infinite dimensional systems. Numerical steps involved in the computations of optimal and suboptimal controllers are demonstrated with different examples, including flexible beam models and systems with time delays.

Title Stable H ∞ Controller Design for Infinite - Dimensional Systemsvia Interpolation

H∞ control is well appreciated as a powerful design methodology against system uncertainty. It has been playing an important role in the field of robust control. For infinite-dimensional systems such as time-delay systems, H∞ control problems have been under extensive study since the mid-1980s. On the other hand, stable controller design known as strong stabilization is also an important issue ...

Robustly stabilizing controllers for dissipative infinite-dimensional systems with collocated actuators and sensors

We derive formulas for normalized doubly coprime factorizations over H 1 , for a class of nonexponentially stabilizable systems. Using these results, we solve the problem of robust stabilization with respect to normalized coprime factor perturbations for a class of innnite-dimensional systems (A; B; B ; D), with nite-rank inputs and outputs and dissipative A; these systems are not exponentially...

Smith-Predictor type Structure for a Class of Infinite-Dimensional Systems: Optimal Control and Performance Limitation Formula

In this talk we investigate control problems for infinite-dimensional systems whose transfer matrices are expressible in terms of a rational transfer matrix and a scalar (possibly irrational) inner function. This class of systems is capable of describing many practical control problems, when weighting functions are rational and plants have at most a finite number of unstable modes or zeros. In ...

Global Stabilization of Attitude Dynamics: SDRE-based Control Laws

The State-Dependant Riccati Equation method has been frequently used to design suboptimal controllers applied to nonlinear dynamic systems. Different methods for local stability analysis of SDRE controlled systems of order greater than two such as the attitude dynamics of a general rigid body have been extended in literature; however, it is still difficult to show global stability properties of...
